Our project works
We started with 936 chickens in 11 communities. Till date, we are producing 4000 chickens a month and total of 52,000 chickens as of Sept 24
Step 1: Identify
We work with rural community leaders/organisations who has identified at least 30 families in their community to work with
Step 4: Reduced in cost
One of the key success factor of this project is that we teach villagers how to raise chickens with little/no cost by their own feed production in their backyard
Step 2: Education
Education is at the core of our approach. We provide training and educational resources to equip community members with the knowledge and skills necessary to run successful mirco-chicken farms
Step 3: Distribution
We distribute a "Start-up" kit to each family consisting of 3 chickens, 2 nets and water/food trays. Chickens can be reared under their house and project will be implemented in a day
Step 5: Capacity building
Step 6: Business Model
We are committed to ensure success of our partner and families involved. We handhold them for 6 months to ensure families do well and answering any enquiries
Families will rear and breed these chickens. After personal consumption, they can sell these chickens back to community partner with an agreed profit share
